About
I am so excited to be embarking on a new chapter- Creating a place to nurture, connect, laugh, break bread, and gather with other women. It is an honor to be here.
It is a very exciting time for me as years of heart led intuition, and wisdom have created the idea of gathering women together, reconnecting to one another, to nature, to our highest selves- Enjoying local and organic food- continuing this idea of community at a high energetic level.
Our events will always include yoga, and gathering around a table, breaking bread, and nourishing you! We have many ideas- We may do yoga & art, yoga & flower picking, plans are in the works, so stay tuned.
These are ideas, and experiences that were crafted though my beautiful Grandmother's hands, as she prepared countless meals, and celebrations for my family, with love. Always with so much love. My Mother, reading books to me by Tasha Tudor, Beatrix Potter, and Robert McCloskey, under the shade of our gorgeous tree in the backyard. Weeping and laughing with woman as I grew, who spoke wisdom and love into my life. Grieving when friends passed, celebrating when children were born. This is the heart and soul of all of this. May we all gather, nourish, and be restored. Welcome to Yoga By Naomi.
About Naomi
Naomi Murtagh is a lifelong truth seeker passionate about mind, body, and spirit. She immediately fell in love with yoga over thirteen years ago after personally experiencing the benefits of the practice. As meditation in motion, the practice of yoga opened up a pathway to her for an entirely new way of being. After practicing for many years, Naomi knew she wanted to delve deeper and pursue a teachers certification.
She has a deep desire, and passion for reconnecting woman to one another, to Mother Gaia, and to their true divine nature. In practicing yoga, breaking bread, joining together to laugh, cry, connect, there is magic. Naomi believes there is a sacredness even in the mundane. It is her deep desire to share this sacred magic with everyone she knows.
Naomi holds a BA degree from Northern Illinois University and Yoga teachers certification from Flourish Yoga in Fishers, Indiana. When off of her mat, she enjoys spending time with her incredible and hilarious husband, Andrew, and their four children. She also loves walking with friends (two legged or four), hiking, gardening, cooking, reading, and spending time enjoying the many sports played by her children.
